R.Peel on his backbround
I'm from Chitungwiza, l grew up in Warren Park. My lifestyle is hustling from the ghetto, going up there trying to make a living. Thus starting businesses, selling clothes and doing music.
Do you have a merchandise ?
Yes l do have a merchandise, clothing line called ZVIGABA. Its a partnership with some people that l work with, its not mine alone.
Do you still stand with your words "Feli Nandi is going to take the country by storm.
l was a bit too excited, l would now say Atenda Chinx is going to take the country by storm !
ls it true you're signed under ZVIGABA ?
It's partially true, l did not sign a 360 deal. l own 100 percent of my music, they do distribution for me and sponsor most of my projects. There are projects were we do slits on the revenue, I'm not signed to anyone.
Do you still stand with your words "Nutty O is going to be the biggest artist in Zimbabwe.
Nutty O is not going to be the biggest artist in Zimbabwe only, He's going to be a force to be reckoned in Africa if he gets the support he deserves in Zimbabwe.
The Comic Pastor ~ One day it will pay out, l am willing to work with you on any project. You are welcome, you are working hard for your own visibility.
I love comic pastor, that's my big brother. l love what he represents, l like he's a hardworker and he's not out there to get handouts & that's why he had to leave the country so he can do his thing freely. We actually did a project in my album 'Revelation' called 'office job' featuring Comic Pastor.
Do you still stand with your words "Ray Vines left this country because its was draining his genius, They deleted his instagram account that had 200k + followers, real talent is suppressed and drained in Zimbabwe."
l Do, l have be telling Zimbabweans that he's a genius and the number one comedian in Zimbabwe when it comes to skits. When it comes to programing and coding, he's the future of software engineering in Zimbabwe.
Mudiwa hood ~ With a change of attitude, this young man can go far, without that he's going nowhere. Attitude is everything.
I don't take advice from Mudiwa, l don't respect him, l don't think he's a musician, l don't think he's a real mogul, maybe it's true but l don't care what Mudiwa says.
Was your beef with Ras Pompy real ?
No, Ras Pompy is my brother, l don't have a beef with him. It was for the culture.
Ras Pompy ~ R.Peels used my name to get fame.
l used his name on a song, l give him a point there, Probably.
How do you feel about the current state of Zimbabwean Music ?
l am excited and depressed at the same time, l am excited with the new artist Sane Wav, Trapdee, Yadis. l am depressed with content that is mediocre. Am in between.
Which features should fans expect next from you ?
Am going to do something with Poptain, Mr Attention, Natasha Muz ....
